This image I painted using Corel Painter IX and then added graphical elements in photoshop. The painting was created using Painters new (digital) Artist Oils brushes. The new brushes react suprizingly realistically. I highly recommend painter to anyone interested in doing traditional media on a digital platform.

This is an elaboration of a design for the Camp Harlow staff T-shirts for 2005. I painted this one in Flash. I decided that the trees needed to be developed a bit more. The text was thrown is as a placeholder font. I think the camp will proabably decide on something more “Safari” looking. The lion I painted is a replica of a clip-art lion. I figured it would be less of a hassle to paint one than try and locate the original file, then import it, etc…
