Typography – DC

TypographyDC

One of my classes at Oregon was about typography. We had to come up with a design that imitated a famous designer. This one is tribute to David Carson. My teacher didn’t really like it, mostly cause she didn’t like David Carson I think. Thats why she’s not in charge of design for Quicksilver…

There, now you can see what the thing ended up looking like. Unfortunately, Glow-in-the-dark Space Mucus dries out rapidly and shrinks making this package design impractical. My instructor overlooked it since the chemical makeup of GITDSM is infact unknown…

In my package design class they had us come up with a design for “anything” as our final project. I chose Glow-In-The-Dark Space Mucus which normally comes in a little plastic egg. Instead I thought it would be nicer if it came suspended in the middle of a sculpture…so thats what I did. Yummy looking right?
